On Friday 25th July, the Anjunabeats all-stars of Andrew Bayer, ilan Bluestone, Audien and Genix take over The Gallery at Ministry Of Sound to celebrate the launch of the latest chapter in Above & Beyond’s acclaimed compilation series, Anjunabeats Volume 11.
A mix journey crafted by Above & Beyond showcasing the label’s brightest present and future talent, Anjunabeats Volume 11 marks the next step in Anjunabeats’ legacy. To celebrate this legacy, we bring together four of the labels’ finest in the legendary Ministry Of Sound.
An artist who needs no introduction, the multi-talented innovator Andrew Bayer makes his awaited UK return for the Volume 11 launch. Responsible for some of the label’s most defining recent productions in “Need Your Love”, “England”, “Once Lydian” and his latest Beatport trance #1 triumph, “Bullet Catch”, Bayer’s Volume 11 closer “The District” has gone down as an instant fans’ favourite from the compilation.
One of the most prolific talents on the Anjunabeats roster, ilan Bluestone’s unique melodic touch sees him continually producing some of the freshest material in today’s trance and progressive scene. With three tracks featured on Volume 11 such as the anthemic “Spheres”, his collaboration with Jerome Isma-Ae on “Tension”, as well as his majestic remix of OceanLab’s beloved “Satellite”, 25th July sees another chance for fans to see ilan before he continues on his road to world domination.
Joining the launch is the prodigious producer and high-flying talent Audien aka Nate Rathbun. With his first release on Anjunabeats back in 2012 with “Eventide”, Audien’s relationship with Above & Beyond continued to blossom, with the band premiering Audien’s classic “Wayfarer” as the first ever song played on ‘Group Therapy’. Following on from crossover anthems such as “Iris” and “Elysium”, Audien’s latest “Hindsight” is another future classic in the making with heavy BBC Radio 1 support from Pete Tong.
Completing the classy line-up of Anjunabeats’ finest talent is Genix. Renowned for his cutting edge production evident in tracks such as “Higher State”, “Dyno” and his remix of Above & Beyond’s “Home”, Genix shines on Volume 11 with two tracks, the euphoric “Run” as well as his remix of Above & Beyond’s ‘Anjunabeach’ with Las Salinas.
Join us for this historic night and be part of Above & Beyond’s Anjunabeats Volume 11.
