Two of our most talented and longest standing producers, Super8 & Tab made their first joint appearance on the "Anjunabeats Volume" series with their debut collaboration "First Aid" on "Anjunabeats Volume 3". Eight years and seven compilations later they are back with their new "Anjunabeats Volume 10" offering - the brilliant "L.A.". Ahead of its release, we catch up with the Finnish duo Miika Eloranta and Janne Mansnerus to run through their 10 favourite things about the city that inspired the track title.
Downtown L.A. - We’ve stayed at the Standard hotel in downtown a lot. It has a nice roof bar to chill out in before gigs at Awakening @ L.A. Exchange.
Freeways - Coming from a country with a population of 5.4 million, it was very impressive to experience L.A. traffic for the first time. L.A. county has as many cars as we have people in the whole of Finland.
Santa Monica and Venice Beach - Serious beach action and much more. Check out the pier at Santa Monica and don’t miss the restaurants near by.
LAX - Not the airport, but the symbolic letters that announce you’ve officially arrived in L.A.
L.A. Vibe - The sun is shining and all possibilities are open. There’s so much creative energy in that city.
Danny’s Venice Deli - Excellent burgers and a nice atmosphere. If we are anywhere nearby we try to visit.
Drive through Sunset Boulevard - It starts from the coast and goes through, or nearby, Bel Air, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Silver Lake and so on. There’s a lot to see on the way.
Griffith Park - A getaway from L.A. craziness where it is actually possible to spot the real stars!
San Bernandino - Festival fun. Nocturnal Wonderland is massive and the vibe there is unique. Party approved!
Mullholland Drive - It’s a nice view of L.A. and there’s a road where you can find some of the most expensive houses in the world. Don’t go anywhere nearby if you get jealous of others people’s wealthiness.

We always feel a special connection to San Francisco and Los Angeles, so it’s a rare treat for us to be able to play both of these incredible cities on New Year’s Eve this year.
We’ll be kicking off the celebrations at POP NYE at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, before hot footing it down to Anaheim for White Wonderland at the Convention Center. To say we’re really looking forward to these two shows is a bit of understatement and we really hope you can join us at one of them - we can’t wait!
