"Anjunabeats Volume 10 Sampler pt.2" OUT NOW!!

Featuring three full-length tracks from Above & Beyond’s “Anjunabeats Volume 10” compilation (9/10 Mixmag), this second sampler showcases four unique artists from the global Anjuna family.

Italian David Boldini aka 7 Skies teams up with Poland’s Nitrous Oxide for the uplifting "Right On". Bringing together rich piano melodies with powerful bass rhythms, "Right On" is a high-octane meeting of musical minds.

Marking his debut original release on Anjunabeats, Anjunadeep favourite Soundprank steps up into the big room with the unique "Animus". A fusion of his trademark electro textures with solid club grooves, "Animus" is a sign of things to come from the Canadian.

Rounding things off is the infectious, brilliantly catchy "Ohh" by Sweden’s Mike Shiver. Full of subtle vocal sampling and blissful piano melodies, "Ohh" is a welcome return for Mike Shiver - who last appeared on Anjunabeats with the classic "Everywhere You Are" (feat. Aruna) in 2010.

Velvetine “The Great Divide” (The Remixes) OUT NOW!!

Having already taken the top spot in the Beatport Trance Chart, "The Great Divide" by Velvetine (aka Myon & Shane 54 and Aruna) returns with two stunning remixes from Myon & Shane 54 themselves and Canadian progressive master Soundprank.

Seemingly ever-present in Above & Beyond’s DJ sets, the Hungarian duo of Myon & Shane 54 continue to establish themselves as some of the most sought-after remixers in the game with their uplifting Summer Of Love sound. Responsible for adding a fresh twist to everyone from Hybrid to Craig David, the pair inject Aruna’s vocals with their trademark euphoric synth surge, creating a brighter, peak-time alternative to the Velvetine original.

Anjunadeep favourite Soundprank makes his Anjunabeats debut with a characteristically electro-fused groover. Now firmly moving his sound to the big room and courting the attention of Radio 1, his uptempo remix is full of modern funk fuelled bass and stylish sounds - also included in dub form.

Also included on this package is the epic and atmospheric intro mix of the original.

"Enough to induce and endorphin rush the size of Niagara Falls" **** - DJ Magazine

"Another epic and deliciously deep selection of uplifting sounds that shimmers and flows from start to finish" **** - iDJ Magazine

Firmly established as a bedrock of the progressive and melodic techno sound, Anjunadeep has scaled new heights in the past 12 months with support coming from acts as disparate as UK techno baron Dave Clarke, Laurent Garnier, Eric Prydz, Groove Armada’s Andy Cato and stadium-filler Deadmau5 – the latter commenting on Michael Cassette’s Anjunadeep anthem ‘Ghost In The Machine’: “I haven’t felt this good listening to a piece of music since Eric Prydz’s ‘Melo’ -10/10”.

Showcasing the full spectrum of the label’s diverse sounds, ‘Anjunadeep:03’ mixed by Jaytech & James Grant is the latest annual label collection and features 29 largely unreleased tracks that range from deep, dark and hypnotic techno to upbeat, uplifting electronic house grooves.

Anjunabeats in Miami - Interview with Cosmic Gate, Super8 & Tab and Soundprank

Above & Beyond’s annual Anjunabeats party has become a Miami institution and on March 24th 2011, the group is hosting its biggest Miami event to date, with a two room extravaganza at Ice Palace.

Room One will feature the forward-thinking trance sounds of Anjunabeats, including a headline set by Above & Beyond themselves. Joining them will be Cosmic Gate, Kyau & Albert, Super8 & Tab, Mat Zo, Soundprank Plus very special guests… Gabriel & Dresden.

Room Two will be hosted by Anjunadeep, in celebration of the latest release in the iTunes chart-topping compilation series, Anjunadeep:03. There you can catch John Dahlback, Jaytech, Jody Wisternoff (Way Out West), Desyn Masiello, Electrobios and Anjunadeep A&R man James Grant.

Last year’s Anjunabeats party was a road block at Karu & Y and with Above & Beyond’s TATW350 L.A. Palladium show selling out in a record 24 hours, tickets for the 2011 Miami event will be hot property. Ahead of the event we catch up with three of the artists playing on the night; Cosmic Gate, Super8 & Tab and Soundprank:

Cosmic Gate
Describe your 2011 so far in just 5 words…
Snow, Travelling, Hotel, Studio, Interviews

What is your favourite Miami memory?
Miami is such a fun place, especially when it comes to the Music conference time. One of our favourite memories for sure was our yacht party last year, we always look back at this with a huge smile on our faces, dont miss it this year if you get the chance!

Name 3 records that have been rocking your world most this year?
Cosmic Gate “Back to Earth” Arty Remix - His masterpiece so far in our eyes!!!
Mat Zo “Back in Time” What a fantastic Bassline!
Wippenberg “Phoenix” Amazing new proggy tune from our buddy

What can we expect from set at Ice Palace?
We will play some tracks from our current album “Back 2 The Future” plus some new unreleased tracks and remixes. And we will party together with the crowd as you are use to from the two of us, we can`t wait for this party to start - everyone that was in LA for TATW 350 knows what to expect and what we are talking about.

Tell us a bit about your next big release?
Actually the big thing that has only just been released now is our Back 2 The Future album with remixes from our early work from 1999 to 2003. The next big thing will be the next artist album with new productions we have just started working on, some very interesting collaborations are in the pipeline, watch out for it.

Super8 & Tab
Describe your 2011 so far in just 5 words…
Exploring. New. Synths. Is. Fun.

What is your favourite Miami memory?
Last time when we played at the Anjunabeats party in Miami we only spent 5 hours there before heading to San Francisco, so we didnt have too much time to hang around, but after the gig we went to beach for 15 mins! It was totally empty in 5am, but it was still nice to sit down on the sand and watch the sea. Relaxing.

Name 3 records that have been rocking your world most this year?
Slusnik Luna “Sun 2011” (4 Strings Remix)
Above & Beyond “Can´t Sleep” (Super8 & Tab Remix)
Kyau & Albert “Barbizon”

What can we expect from set at Ice Palace?
The line up is amazing and I believe we are going to hear lots of classics that night so we are definitely going to drop a few as well. But we have also been working hard in studio so there will be new stuff from us which we will play there.

Tell us a bit about your next big release?
Theres an interesting collaboration coming, great remixes and some amazing artists remixing tracks from our album but of course we cannot say anything more about it right now.

Soundprank
Describe your 2011 so far in just 5 words…
Exciting, character-building, fun, intense, challenging.

What is your favourite Miami memory?
Probably getting the chance to play my own stuff out for the first time in a big venue, there’s nothing else like it really.

Name 3 records that have been rocking your world most this year?
The Prestige Soundtrack, the Inception Soundtrack and Hidden Orchestra - The Windfall.

What can we expect from set at Ice Palace?
I’ll be playing some new stuff of course, and some known Soundprank tunes. If anyone remembers my guestmix for Jaytech’s podcast that’s a good idea of what I’ll be playing style-wise.

Tell us a bit about your next big release?
Currently working with Boom Jinx on some stuff which I’m really excited about. Other than that I have another EP coming up on Anjunadeep, will feature a new track that I’m really excited about, its a bit more raw and edgy but still has the deep vibe.

Early bird tickets have sold out but general admission tickets are on sale now.
